Pursuant to the
Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information 
, Retraite Québec has been applying its
Politique de confidentialité (Privacy policy; French only) and its
Politique sur la gestion de la sécurité de l'information, de l'accès à l'information et de la protection des renseignements personnels (SIAIPRP) (Policy regarding information security, access to information and protection of personal information; French only.) since 22 September 2023.
The privacy policy mainly aims to inform citizens who use Retraite Québec's website of the guidelines regarding:
- the personal information collected by Retraite Québec and the purposes for which it is collected;
- the technological means by which personal information is collected;
- the measures that may be taken to refuse or stop the collection of personal information;
- the right to avail oneself of the complaints process regarding the protection of personal information;
- the contact information for any questions relating to the policy.
