Regulatory amendments to the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services (PPPOCS)
Changes to your pension plan
On 9 February 2021, amendments were made to the
Regulation respecting the designation of classes of employees and the determination of special provisions applicable to employees of the Institut Philippe-Pinel under the
PPPOCS.
The main amendment made to the
PPPOCS pertains to:
Classes of employees covered under the
PPPOCS
Affected plan: PPPOCS
New list of intermediate middle manager positions of the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel (Institut Philippe-Pinel de Montréal before 2018) covered under the
PPPOCS
Effective date: 7 June 2020
The list of middle manager positions of the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel (Institut Philippe-Pinel de Montréal before 2018) covered under the
PPPOCS is replaced by the following:
- Sector head, social and rehabilitation programs;
- Sector head, technical and material resources (safety of persons);
- Sector head, nursing care;
- Service head, technical and material resources (safety of persons);
- Service, unit and program head, and head of activities, nursing care;
- Service, unit and program head, and head of activities, multidisciplinary services (criminology and psychology);
- Service, unit and program head, and head of activities, social and rehabilitation programs;
- Managerial advisor, nursing care;
- Coordinator or head of activities, nursing care (evening, night, weekends and holidays/housing).
The new list of classes of employees applies as of 7 June 2020.
